Dr. Femi Falana – Theology & Director of Certificate Studies

Rev. Femi Falana
BS (Econ), MPBA, M.Div., DRE.
Dr. Femi Falana is an administrator by profession and a teacher by vocation. Trained in USA as an economist, he has diverse experience in public and private sectors---administration, commerce and industry, education, technology, and the Ministry.

After graduating with a BS in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland in 1976, he obtained a Master’s degree in Business and Public Administration in 1979 from Southeastern University, Washington, DC. He obtained his M.Div. degree from the National Bible College, Fort Washington, Maryland in 2003. And his Doctorate degree in Religious Education in 2004 from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary, Maryland.

He taught briefly at the University of Ibadan, Department of Social Sciences, Nigeria from 1981 to 1983. In 1983, he took up job as the Executive Secretary of the Ibadan Chamber of Commerce. In 1986, he became the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Oyo, Ogun and Ondo States of Nigeria..

In 1989, he returned to the USA where he operated a food retail store in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Born again in 1989, he was ordained a Clergy in 2002. He was a founding member of the Association of Nigerian Clergymen in America in 2002.  He is the founder of the Mission of Hope Ministry.

He served as a Board Member of the Ibadan  Municipal Planning Authority, Ibadan Nigeria from 1983 to 1985. In USA, he served on the Board of the Claymont Community Council from 1990 to 1992.

He was the Academic Dean at the National Bible College and Seminary from 2003 to 2005. He is an Adjunct Professor of Theology, and Honorary Dean of Academic Affairs, National Bible College and Seminary, Fort Washington, Maryland.
He became the Provost of the Redeemed Christian Bible College in 2005.

Dr. Falana has written some Study Guides in Theology for Bible College students and is working on a thought provoking research on ministerial ethics.

A Paul Harris Fellow of The Rotary Club, International, Dr. Falana is happily married with children. 

Pastor Mrs. Funmi Adeyemi– Community & Organizational Leadership

Pastor Mrs. Funmi Adeyemi, MHS, PHR, is the wife of Senior Pastor, RCCG Lighthouse for the Nations, Mansfield, Texas. She has over 20 years of experience as a skillful teacher, missionary, mentor, and community organizer/advocate. She earned Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Non-Profit Management, Human Resources Management, Child Care Management and Research) and her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration at University of Texas in Arlington. She is also a certified Human Resources Professional.

To her credit, Pastor Funmi was one of the first set of pioneer missionaries sent out by the RCCG international office to countries of Southern Africa in 1995. She served at the General Overseer’s office and was a lecturer at RCCG School of Missions before her missionary assignment. She became an acclaimed case management expert with Catholic Charities, Forth Worth, Texas, a position that won accolades to her employer from the state of Texas Older Refugees department. Presently, she serves on the Pastoral team with her husband and happily married with three children.

Dr. Funto Oluwafemi – Counseling

Funto Oluwafemi has a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL. She has experience working with several populations and in different settings, including, a women's jail, an anxiety clinic, college age individuals, a psychiatric outpatient department, and children from divorced homes.

Her research interest areas include the connection between spirituality and psychology, and the impact of spirituality on African American women who experience domestic violence. Funto enjoys reading and writing and teaching others, she often gives presentation to her local church, educating them on mental health issues.
